Ex Remarried BEFORE divorce is final!?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I just found out that my ex has remarried before our divorce was final. Is there any condition under which the financial support (both alimony and child support of which I pay) can be modified? Do I have any legal option to pursue here - either before or after it is discovered that this remarriage is actually illegal?

thank you,

His new marriage is the one that has issues -- not yours which ended. You could alert his new wife that he is a bigamist if you would like. Alimony unless modifiable will not be modified. And if you waived it, you waived it. Child support can be modified every few years or when there is a substantial change in income. His new marriage does not count however.

Nothing stated by me should be taken as giving you legal advice or forming an attorney/client relationship. The devil is in the details after all.
