I reside in Florida, the state they just passed senate bill 152. ( The alimony bill (SB 152) gives Florida judges the discretion of whether to reduce or cut off alimony, and spells out some things they can look at to determine whether the person is in a "supportive relationship," such as how long they've lived with the new person, or whether they share pooled assets.)

I was divorced in the state of California and I am to recieve alimony for 10 years.

I probably cannot cohabitate in the future in Florida (according to this new law), but what about other states? And does this apply to me having been divorced in California?
