Help?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

I am going through a rough divorce. I am a Disabled vet that receives VA Disability and I have been married for almost 5 years and for the past three i have been taking care of my son while my wife worked. I am trying to obtain Spousal Support for one year till I get out of College.

My income is about 453.00 per month since I have been on my own. I pay 399 in rent for an apt., I have previously had to live in my truck and a church basement since 9-11-2008. I had knee surgery in Oct 08 and had to rehab all on my own.

My Soon to be Ex makes roughly 7000.00 per month Gross and works M-F about 9.5 hours a day. Her mom and Dad watch my son which used to be what I did until she filed a Bogus CPO that I just settled this week. I took a deal on no wrongdoing and I am not Brady Disqualified. She made up a bunch of lies to get a CPO and I was put in jail twice for violating them with no violence and no harm. I know I messed up on that but my point is I moved to a new City for her so she could be closer to her family and I gave up my Police Career to make her happy.

I was a stay at home dad and I am presently in college with a year to go.
I gave up my Career for her happiness.
I am a disabled vet and she knew this prior to our marriage.
I live in an apt with no furniture or bed due tothe property settlement has not taken place.

What kind of Spousal support will I get and What kind of child support will I have to pay.

I need to know how Ohio handles VA disability pay with Child support.

YOu will get some spousal support but only for approximately 20 months. You need to file. You will also have to pay child support if you do not have custody of the child.

Nothing stated by me should be taken as giving you legal advice or forming an attorney/client relationship. The devil is in the details after all.
