HELP:: Family Support vs: Child Support

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? Caifornia

Back in 1991 I was divorced and the court docs declaired that I need to pay $350/mn Family support. I have paid $450/mn, in any event my CPA has told me that I can't write off the $350/mn. at all because Family support is somehow different, is that true? If you could email me something to read to my CPA perhaps I could change his mind.

No one is going to be able to change his mind. Only alimony/spousal support is tax deductible. Nothing else is.
