How do I make him pay?

What is the name of your state? GA
I just recently won a case against me brought on by my ex husband. The judge awarded me attorney's fees and $10,000 which was part of the divorce decree. He was supposed to begin paying me $500 a month starting on May 1st of this year and I have not received any money yet. He has appealed the judge's decision and we are waiting on her ruling. I am currently completely out of money and can't affort my attorney anymore. How do I get the money that he owes me with out a counter suit?

You need to find yourself a job asap, and keep your fingers crossed for the judge ruling in your favor.

Get the largest pair of pliers you can find. Put his nuts in them and squeeze until he pays. Other than that (or similar methods) there is no way to force someone to pay you without legal processes.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

That should work unless the guy has cast iron balls.

I have no idea how Georgia does things, but in state I live in the Justice Department (child support enforcement) garnishes my ex's wages and sends me a check for my spousal support. I turned in my court order to them and they took it from there. I would check with the Justice department in your state.

Edit to add...I spoke with CSE recently and they told me they do not distinguish between child and spousal support. A support order is a support order. Period. They will enforce whatever type support order they are given.

In addition, this isn't a support order - it's a settlement.

And the settlement is under appeal and UNTIL the appeal is ruled upon nobody apparently has to do anything. From what has been said the ruiling was probably stayed therefore unless the appeals court rules in OP's favor, she will get nothing.

And IF there is a ruling in the OP's favor, she shouldn't expect him to just start happily making the payments. I'm sure that he will make her work for every penny she gets.

There's no MAYBE to it. Other then the fact that the states are different, the issues aren't any where close to being related. A support order is not the same as a judgement.

If the judge ordered her to be paid $500 a month as she states and this "spousal support" then yes support enforcement can and will enforce it. She also stated the judge awarded attorney fees. I assumed, and maybe I should not have assumed, that this was a contempt hearing. Her ex was not paying her what was awarded to her through her divorce decree.
I went to court last August over contempt. The judge awarded me my attorney fees. My attorney had the fees garnished from my ex's employment. I took the judgement to support enforcement. Judgement was for 4 years of non payment. Judgement was a set dollar amount to be garnished until paid in full.
