Laid off ex??

My ex husband has/had court ordered spousal support taken from his check, he was recently laid off, Do I get a portion of his unemployment if he is eligible ? and if so, is it flagged thru his SS# if not who do I request this from?
Also when he does start a new job, how do I make sure his check has the deductions again, automatic?

( also I am unemployed at the moment)
thank you for any advice

You need to provide the state you are in for people to give you more accurate answers.

However, in general I doubt that a garnishment of wages based on court order is going to apply to unemployment benefits.

If you are unemployed, you should be drawing your own benefits.

Wish the best luck to both of you in finding new employment.
