| In PA there is only "spousal support" until the time the divorce is final...as for "alimony" (after the divorce is final) it is not required nor mandatory by law in PA. It is either up to both parties to decide the amount and length of time you are to recieve alimony or you can let a judge decide in which case you may not get alimony at all. I got my divorce in PA and have and continue to deal with the legal issues of divorce in that state. |

spousal supportHello, and thanks for help in advance. I was divorsed 15 months ago and at that time my ex had well paid overseas job , overseas. He paid me 3 tousand a month spouse support and transwer rights to the condo to me , keeping paying the loan. All these is included as his duty in divorse agreement. Also the divorce agreement includes the statement that his obligations remain valid disregarding of my marrital status. Slightly over one year ago I remaried. My ex fullfiled his obligation for one year. We were married for almost 30 years. Close to the end of last year his overseas contract expired, he came back to States. He came back with new wife who is pregnant. He probably still is looking for new work. He stop to pay me any money three mons ago. What can I do. My situation is absolutely tragic. I am not able to hire the attorney right now, is anything what I can do by myself ? |

| You must take him back to court for contempt, for failure to comply with the terms of the court's order. |
