Lying Husband?

My husband wants a divorce and says he will not pay for any support for me during the divorce proceedings (wait time is 120 days in WI). He has closed our joint accounts. I did take out funds before the accounts were closed in the form of a cashier's check for attorney fees, etc... but now he's told me that his attorney has frozen the cashier's check even though it has been deposited in my own checking account. He is the soul income provider (makes 500,000/year) and I have no income coming in. Can he do this? He also has changed the locks on our apartment so I can't get my stuff. It's only been 6 days; Help!

Call the police to have you let back in or break back into the apartment unless there is a restraining order prohibiting you access. Also time to get a job.

Get a lawyer fast. I was on the other end of this situation a few years ago (well some parts of it). My ex was a stay at home mother with no income of her own. When she asked for the divorce she had her lawyer get a temporary order for me to pay a certin amount every month until the divorce was finalized.
