My husband hasn't filed the papers for my alimony

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?CA

Been 6 months since the alimony papers were given to my ex to give to his work so the alimony is taken out of his check. My lawer after the divorce said his end was done and anything else he would need more money. I'm broke and working 3 jobs. My ex uses the money as an excuess to see me because I have to ask hime for money or I'll get kicked out of my apt. I have sent the paper work in myself even though there is a box that is checked that says he has to. Each time the paper work has been given to him. How do I get the paper work to the right people to get my alimony. I had the sheriff even do it and still nothing. That was 4 months ago.

You can file a show cause for contempt motion yourself, without an attorney. There should be a courthouse in your county that has a self help center or family law facilitator who can assist you with the paperwork.
