Not Sure What My Rights Are

Mississippi

I have been divorced for almost 4 yrs from my 1st husband which I was married to for 10 yrs until I found out he was being unfaithful to me for 2 yrs. In our divorce agreement he put a clause in there (of his own free will) that he would pay for one of our vehicles that I drove most of the time until it was paid in full and that I was to be held harmless for all actions by him concerning the vehicle. When the vehicle was paid in full it was to be title solely in my name only and the vehicle was to stay in my possession. He had told me he wanted to pay for the vehicle because he felt bad for what he had done to me, I told him it was up to him that I would get me something else in just my name but he insisted to pay for the vehicle every month until paid in full. For the past year he has fallen behind on the payments and about a month ago filed bankruptcy and surrendered the vehicle that I am driving that he is court ordered to pay for. He still owes around $14,000.00 on the vehicle and its the only means of transportation I have. We have 2 children together from our marriage and I have full custody of them and believe he wanted to pay for the vehicle for theyre sakes too. I have been told that he is contempt of court for letting the vehicle go back and not reaffirming it on his bankruptcy, I have also been told just to take him back to court and sue him for what was due on the vehicle, the amount that he would have had to pay. He is not hurting for money in anyway, he has lived with his mother since our divorce so he doesnt pay any rent, the only bills he has is those he makes and he makes good money. Has anyone had anything similiar happen that can offer me some advice???? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Answered in your own post....

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Good Grief Is Right!!!

Our Divorce was finalized in Jan. 2001, we bought the vehicle around the middle of 2000, it is a 1999 model. He wanted an automatic and the vehicle I had before was a manual, so he took it upon himself one day to take it and trade it in, we were already upside down on the other vehicle we traded in and he really got upside down on the one I have now. He financed it for 6yrs, and yes, suprisingly enough the balance is still around $14,000.00. He pulled his pants down and got screwed from the rear on that one. I was not at the dealership when he signed the papers but he was paying for it so I didnt have much say what he did.
