Unhappy

Please help...court tomorrow

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

Married 21 years. the last 12 I worked secure, long term jobs to provide income and health benefits for the family while my ex husband was pursing various business ventures and odd jobs. He now has gone through training and is a truck driver.

I am on unemployment and would like to take this opportunity to go back school fool time to change my career path. I do not have a car and will be moving to the city (higher cost of living) for school.

My Ex now owns 2 vehicles and a truck (18 wheel that he is financing for $180,000.00 his estimated gross earnings are 10,000. - 12,000. monthly.

I would like to modify my support from $73.00 mth (I was working at the time of settlement) to a higher amt so I can go to school. How should I best present this in court to obtain an increase in spousal support. I'm representing myself. Appreciate any help I can get. Thank you, Annette

How about you add this to your other thread where you were answered Annette. YOu do NOT get to decide to do nothing to support yourself and have your ex support you. There is NOTHING stopping you from working now except a choice.

Bitter???????

Why are you so BITTER??? I'm not saying I won't be working; I will be working at the very least part time. i just want to complete my degree and make myself more marketable. I supported our family and him for over 12 years while jumped from job to job and tried a half dozen business opportunities (all failures because he only gave 50%). I maintained med benefits and full time employment for him, myself, and our children while did this. Now that the kids are grown, the last of which I raised myself, I would like to pursue my dream and complete my degree.

As you were told in yet another of your threads (), just say exactly that.

And be sure to call the Judge "bitter," too.

We've read your "story" three or four times already. Stop posting multiple threads on the very same topic. If you have more to say, add to your existing thread.
