Please help my family

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? Georgia

My uncle got divorced 2 and a half years ago. He was married to my aunt for 21 years before the divorce. They have one child. My cousin is now 18 years old but at the time of the divorce she was only 15. From what I know, the grounds of the divorce was adultry. My aunt cheated on my uncle many times but instead of kicking her to the curb he still wanted to work things out. However, she did not want to try anymore and found it easier to leave and file for a divorce. Since she was the one at fault, my uncle won full custody of my cousin and my aunt had to pay them 300$ a month for child support. My uncle also did not have to pay my aunt a single dime. However, my uncle said that he signed a contract that he is going to give my aunt 1000$ a month for some kind of support. I dont know what this is? but he said that his lawyer told him that he didnot have to sign the contract. However, in hopes of getting my aunt back, he agreed to sign it. This decision has bit my uncle back real hard because my aunt did not return, instead she is now getting re-married to another man. He has been paying her 1000$ a month for almost 2 years. My aunt has also been threatening my uncle about some kind of retirement plan that they had. She just started giving him threats since the talk of her getting re-married. I think that if she gets re-married, all bets would be off and he no longer needs to pay. That is why she is pushing and threatening. She really ruined Christmas for us all and I dont want this to continue to next year. Is there anything I can do? What is this contract about? Whats legal? Why does he have to pay since shes the one at fault? Please help..
Thank you very much

Your Uncle agreed to pay alimony in the amount of $1000.00 a month. Whether or not he has to continue to pay alimony after her remarriage depends on what the court orders actually say. Whether or not she is entitled to a share of the retirement funds depends on what the property settlement for the divorce says. Your uncle needs to consult with an attorney.
