My husband and his ex-wife were married for 10 years (divorced 14 years ago) and they have 3 kids. The ex was awarded $75/month in alimony plus child support. My husband just finished his obligation of paying child support for the last child, so, the ex just filed for a modification of alimony. She also currently gets 22% of his retirement/month on top of the alimony, which amounts to about $450. Do you think she has a good chance of having the $75 alimony upwardly modified in light of the fact that she gets a percentage of his retirement? Is it that easy?
Thanks for your input.
