postnuptial contract?

What is the name of your state? California
My husband and I are seperated at the moment, and have been married for 9yrs. and 8 months. we are now talking about getting back together. But now my husband has learned that I am able to recieve alimony for the rest of my life, or something like that and doesn't know if we should get back together in fear that I may want alimony after the 10 yrs. Is there any way I can sign a postnuptial contract stating I would not want alimony?
