What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I am concerned about this question.

I am married to a man who defaulted on his divorce alimony payents to his previous spouse. I have bought two homes with money belonging to me. Is it possible for his ex-wife to put a lean on these properties.

Likely NOT as long as you do not co-mingle this asset with marital funds or place his name on title.

Keep a good money trail to prove the assets were acquired using your serepete non-marital funds.

Only if his name is also on the deed.
