reimbursement on overpayment of spousal support

What is the name of your state?North Carolina
My divorce was finalized on Sep. 6th. I paid spousal support in the amount of $500 that previous week for the month of September in case her lawyer continued the case again.
Is there a way to be reimbursed that extra money she received for the month of September?

If you did not include it in your final papers, I would not count on seeing it.

From personal experience, your only chance is to offer to write her a check for $1000 if she repays you the $500.

I know that sounds pretty silly now, eh? It is because you are only recently divorced. lol

You have not stated one fact which would support your right to receive any monies in return.

If you would like to come back and give a little more background then maybe a relevant answer can be given.
