Is this right?


I am currently seperated and paying childsupport an my command is trying to make me pay all utilites at the house were my soon to be ex-wife and kids are at. Is this right?

Does your stb ex work? Can she afford the utillities if you were not to pay? And like CC i'm going to assume that you're military in which case i will say yes they can (and usually do) ask you to pay for whatever ex cant pay for and more, esp if children are involved.

If you are in the military a certain portion of any BAS/BAH that you are collecting because you are married with dependents is supposed to go towards the support of your spouse and children. If you are still collecting as a married man, that's probably why your command is trying to require you to pay the utilities.
