What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

when they say you will pay for 1/2 the time of a short term marriage.

is this the time from when you were married to being legaly seperated [time of divorce being filed]

or

when the divirce is finalized giving the ex 1 extra year since thats how long it takes to get divorced with all the fighting going on.
