i was awarded spousal support and my ex husband was ordered to pay debts. he did not do either. i took him back to court and he was told he was to pay me $40000.00 . he did not do this. i took him back to court and he served 20 days in jail and was ordered to pay me. he has not paid anything and this was 2 years ago. how can i collect on this judgement? are there any attorneys who would take this case on the contingency of getting paid when i can collect?

You would have to check around for a lawyer to do contengency but on these matters they are few and far between.

Does he own anything such as a house, car, boat, etc? Have you thought of placing a lein on those items?

Keep taking him to court and maybe eventually he will make good on this debt. Ask your lawyer if wage garnishment is possible in your state for this.
