spousal supportWhat is the name of your state? IL Ex is $15,000+arrears in spousal support, moved out of state and purchased a home there (AZ). He keeps quitting his jobs, apparently to avoid paying the support. wages are garnished but he does not disclose garnishment to new employers. Can I place a lien put against his home for non payment? Should I send him notification of my intent? Last edited by PerplexedToo; 02-03-2004 at 08:12 AM. |

| If the alimony was court ordered, you can simply file "contempt of court for non-payment" forms with the clerk of court. They'll get him and he'll have the option of either paying the balance immediately or going to jail until he can. |
