spousal supportWhat is the name of your state? VA, ex-wife is out of work and getting workmans comp., this is two years after the divorce. I filed a motion to reduce and set a date to end child support due to kids becoming of age, oldest child now 20 and the youngest 18, and graudating in june. my question is can a judge awared spousal support to the ex-wife without a motion filed by her and can she receive spousal support while on workmans comp. ![]() Last edited by lorront; 03-09-2004 at 04:06 PM. |

| If your ex didn't address the issue of alimony during the divorce, it is unlikely, but your best bet is to hire an attorney to handle this for you in case she tries.
