spousal support

Hi; does anyone can give an advice on, how to find out the address of ex husband, who works in UAE for American company ? This is about spousal support not paid, and wage assigment process. My lawyer says, she can not do it if not having home address of him. I know only an address in New York , the service of the company, him works for , and where the mail can be sent to him. And the second question, is my lawyer truthful to me , saying this contact in N.Y. is not enough ?
I live in California, but my divorce was in New Mexico.
