Question

spousal support


What is the name of your state? pa
can some tell me how long you have to be married before you can take them for spousal support? my marrige lasted two weeks and two days everyone tells me to take him for what i can but i am not sure if if they will call two weeks a marrige.

Two YEARS is not enough for spousal support. Two weeks is a Brittany Spears joke on Leno.

No kidding!...unless you lived together for a VERY long time first and co-mingled all kinds of assets....or spent a ton of money for hard assets for him...the only result of this divorce is that everybody is going to keep what they had going into the marriage.

This post definitely takes the cake!

I would love to know what kind of joint assets these two accumulated in two weeks and two days, in order for our poster to "take him for what she can." I wonder if our poster is willing to pay for 1/2 of all of his bills accumulated during his lifetime since she thinks he owes her something.
