Spousal supportWhat is the name of your state? KS How is the amount of spousal support determined? Assuming all assets are split evening. One person earns 25k per year and the other earns 50k. What would be the ratio of the difference in incomes paid out? |

| If it's in Johnson County, the county bar association publishes their guidelines.

| I'm in KS too. In my divorce in 1999, I ended up paying $500 per mo in Alimony for 10 yrs (State max length I think, still paying of course). I was making $64k per yr and spouse was making $0k. The length of marriage was 13.5 yrs. (This is on top of child support). Hope that helps you some. |
