Spousal Support after Divorce is Final

What is the name of your state? WA

I was married for 25 years and worked with my husband in Real Estate for the last 10. I therefore have no social security benefits, all was under his name. No unemployment was paid. I helped him build the business. We separaded 1/2000 divorce was final 5/2001. Spousal support was final July 2002. I am 44 years old, partially diabled. I have been looking for work for two years. My savings is exausted and I have no income. I have worked some temp jobs but can't get unemployment. I have no children and can get no help from the state. I never agreed to, nor signed the divorce. I was not allowed to read the final divorce, the judge had my spouse's lawyer read the final agreement. I was distraught and had no legal representation. The judge did not allow me to speak all that I wanted to say. The divorce decree also referred to an attachment that never materialized.

Is there any hope of getting the spousal support reinstated for a longer period?

Help --- What do I do?????????

I am not sure about your state, but in CA we have the option of going to court to modify or extend the court order to spousal support and/or child support. Be prepared to demonstrate your extenuating circumstances and your desire to improve your situation to relieve him of this in the future.
