What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Married 25 yrs. ,to wealthy developer, I agreed to pittance of alimony, thinking to share % of profit from future projects. BUT, housing market crashes, & husband quits support exactly 6 yrs. into paying me alimony. He is tri-athlete, 61 yrs, owns home here & vacation condo on Hawaii. Claims he can't find job, yet goes on vacation w/girlfriend almost move ievery weekend. I am re-cuperating from my second total hip replacement in five years . I had to sell my home, can't afford mortgage, will move into my elderly parents' downstairs
den next month . Do I have to collect for non-payment here where we divorced, & do I need to collect ASAP, "ON Crutches"
