Is there a mandated state guideline?

Does she do a good job running the family business? Is there any reason why she cannot continue to run the business and receive a reasonable salary after the divorce?
In any case, while there is no set formula for spousal support/alimony, a common formula that is used is:
15k-4k=11k 11k/2 = 5.5k which would be the spousal support figure. If there was any child support that would be deducted from the 15k before applying the formula. That is probably a worst case scenario.
