I signed a piece of paper saying that I would pay for my separated wife's rent, phone bill and credit cards...as well as maintaining her on my insurance policies... but, realize now that this was a mistake, and I am being taken... how binding is this paper? It was never notarized, nor seen by a lawyer,..and she did not sign it

so rip it up and kick the broad to the curb, let her get her own job and work.

Think of her as a Welfare recipient, and instead of the government paying her bills , you are!

And no separatations, you are still married and still responsible for her bills....divorce her fast! No damn excuses.
