Question

What is contempt, exactly??

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I was advised, in this forum, that my ex husban not paying ordered support payments since May 08 means he is in contemp.

1. what exactly does this mean?
2. Do I have to bring this up to the judge or will the judge know this since I am asking for arrears?

Contempt is when someone does NOT follow the rules. SORTA LIKE YOU -- you are in contempt of those forum's rules by opening a NEW THREAD every time you decide to post. QUIT IT. Add this to one of your other threads.
