what's the criteria for alimony?

What is the name of your state? tennessee

is there literally a set baseline of years that you have to stay married in order to qualify for alimony or are there a bunch of factors that go in to determining the situation?

very funny.

i was just asking because i read another poster talking about her husband wanting alimony after only a little over 2 years of marriage.
