Will she get Alimony

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL

I have been married for just over 3 years, and it looks like its not going to work. My wife brought no assets to the marriage, and has contributed little to the finances. She was employed as a mortage loan officer when we were married, not making much money, and now she does painting and wallpaper. She earned about $15 - $20k at the most. I have paid all the bills, and my name is on everything b/c her credit is poor.

We have no children together.

She has a minor child, and gets minimal child support from her X b/c she let him off the hook. She should be getting 1500/mo but gets 300.

I also own a condo that I had before we were married...i now rent it out. and I'd like to move back if we split.
We bought a home together (she's not on the loan) and I put up all the down payment myself.

1. Will I have to pay alimony
2. Does she have a claim on the condo.
3. Will I have to share the equity in the home if it hasn't gone up in value since all the money came from me?

Sorry for the long note, but any help will be appreciated. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?Illinois

You may have to pay short term alimony. You will have to share the equity in the home if it was bought during the marriage. And you have put marital funds (earned income) into the home. The condo she might have a share on -- the income from the rent -- where did that go? Is there an outstanding mortgage on it? How much if so? How was the mortgage paid?

The Condo has a mortgage of 141...value of 180 (hasn't changed much).

The payments have gone directly to the mortage and home owners dues. Basically a negative cash flow after maintenance and depreciation.
