Is it worth it? Spousal Support

What is the name of your state? Mi
Wondering if it is worth my time and energy not to mention attorney fees to ask for spousal support. Married 12.5 yrs, haven't worked in 7yrs because his career took us out of the country. My skills on the job market go from 8-12$ per hour. Hardly any assets 20-25 000$. At least I don't have any debt. Wondering if it's just best to give him the divorce he asked for and get on with the buisness of life. His salary is 100k+.

if he wants the divorce, ask for alimony, if he doesnt want to agree to any, he wont get and easy quick divorce, and you can ask for (may not get) attorney fees since there is a such a disparity in your income.

I'm not an attorney but I think this is right based on things I've read. It may vary by your state. sit tight for some responses from real attorneys

and I'm sorry you are going through this.
