What is the name of your state?IL

I and my boyfriend want buy a house. We plan to get married. He wants to have the house before mirried and use only his name in the morgage. His salary will go for the morgage, mine will for rest living expense. Can my name be listed in the deed legally?

If not, does it mean I have no right to the property?

If he purchases the house in that way, then yes, its possible that you could have no rights to the property....or at least no signficant rights. The longer you are married the more rights you would have. However, personally, if would be very leery of marrying someone who was already playing games about property...and I certainly wouldn't agree to be responsible for all other living expenses.

Is it possible to add someone's name to the property deed later and he can have same right to the house?
