I defaulted on a GSL loan (23K) that I took out in mid-80s. That loan, with interest, is now over 100K. Can't pay it back.

Would like to purchase land and build a house. If I do this, will govt. seize land and house? Are there states that do not allow such seizures to occur? Thanks. Please e-mail me.
