120 day rule for a decision

I live in Ohio. My boyfriend had a "motion to suppress" hearing in JANUARY and the judge has not came back with a decision. Is there a time limit on how long he can take? I heard about a "120 day rule" but is that just to file for a motion? Please help, he has been in there so long and his case is going NO where...fast.

Your boyfriend's lawyer should make a motion that the court rule on the motion to suppress.
