18 and broke probation,now 21

a young man that broke probation and moved out of state and now has returned, what should he do? Now he has a baby and needs to work. I understand he is 21 now and was 18 then and stole plants and sold them. He had 3 months to go . What should he do? No other wrongs commited. I say face the music so he can get on with his life. He is scared he will go to jail.

you are entirely correct. the longer he waits, the worse it will be for him. if he turns himself in now, his life will be alot happier in the future. if he doesn't, he will always be looking over his shoulder, because he will eventually get stopped by the police and then he will go to jail.
