I live in north carolina (durham) and I was charged with accessing computers. I was at my old job on someone elses computer checking emails and looking for jobs. There was also porn in my email so that showed up when they looked at the cookies on the computer. I have seen an attorney but I can't afford it b/c I'm currently unemployed and receiving unemployment. The attorney told me about the first-time offenders program and I believe thats what I want to do so I can get this expunged of my record A.S.A.P. I have my first court date on August 1st and I'm extremely nervous b/c I have no representation and I want all of this to be over so I can have a clean record and get a good job. I just graduated from college last year and I'll be 23 on August 6. This is my first and last crime. What do I do?
