3 strikes law

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I would like to know what is the 3 strikes law about?

That is when you play baseball and the pitcher throws the ball and it whizzes passed the guy with the bat and the umpire says...STRIKE ONE. The pitcher throws the ball again and slams it passed the batter again and the ump says...STRIKE TWO. One more throw at 90mph and ...STRIKE THREE.

Now you get to go sit down, wipe the tears from your eyes and wait your turn just like a good little boy.

I disagree with Wirelessany1.

It has to be in the strike zone.

Here is a good summary with very little editorial opinion:

Don't swat at flies in the infield, you might miss the ball.
