advice on application

I am in the process of filling out a very important application and the one section where they ask you about previous arrests......and so comes up. Usually I answer NONE, but b/c this is an important application I don't want to screw it up somehow so I'm thinking I should put YES.

The story is that I was arrested a couple of times as a teenager for underage drinking in the state of IL, each time I was given court supervision which I completed without a problem every time. Now I remember when I went through this that they told me that if I complete the supervision, then it is like I never was arrested and everything is erased.

So what do I do. I don't want to put that I have never been arrested and then this employer finds out through some loop-hole that I actually was and get bent out of shape and screw me over. On the other hand, if I do put YES that I have been arrested, then I have to go and get all of the court documents and also write a statement what all happened and have it notorized and sent to the proper people. I'm pretty busy and this would be a huge pain in the butt. Please, any advise would be greatly appreciated.
