Appearance ticket

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? NY
I was a passenger in a car and the driver was arrested for DWI
I was ticketed for open container and posession.
The open container ticket had the correct date and the appearance ticket had the incorrrect dat (year) three times, can I have it thrown out?

No. You can't have that thrown out. You need to contact the court to see when you have to show up or it could issue for your arrest.

But with open container, it is no big deal to court, but it is big deal if it is possession. Your friend is facing more penalties than you are facing.
