Question

Applying for marriage license with arrest warrant?

What is the name of your state? New Jersey

I have been having problems getting all my mail and missed a court date regarding a change in child support and now a warrant has been issued for my arrest...

I am getting married in a month and have to go apply for a marriage license....

My question is when we go to apply for the license will they arrest me on the spot or refuse us the license because of my warrant???

It depends on whether NJ has the warrant data linked to their marriage license data. My guess would be no, but you never know. Maybe that's a sign that you should wait on getting married until you are capable of supporting the kids you already have....
