arrest

What is the name of your state? Illinois

My son had a warrent out for him for the balance of a fine that was imposed over a bad check. Thursday afternoon, the city police arrested him-they searched him and his car and found marajoina-a pipe -and a small piece of meth. They took him to jail.
It is now Sunday evening- he has seen no judge. Does he have a specific time to do this before they have to release him? Was just wondering. Thank you.
