My son had warrants out for his arrest. He was driving a car, stopped at the store. Went in to the store. A sherriff who pulled up behind him before he got out of the car, waited until my son went into the c-store. then went in to the store and arrested him and leaned him over the checkout counter.to handcuff him. Is this legal? everyone is saying it is private property and the sherriff can't do that he has to wait. until you come out side. What is the law on this or does it matter. Thank You for your help.
