What is the name of your state? California
Where can I go to get a print out of my entire arrest record in a particular county?

Have you tried contacting the police records department of that county? I would bet they can answer your question.

I'm sure this is pretty much universal to all states. Call the police department and/or sherrif's office, ask about getting your arrest record. They will tell you to come downtown to their main office with a picture ID and pay around $1 for the report. That should be it unless you have a warrant in which case they'll play it all cool and tell you to wait while they make a copy of the report and then a friendly officier will come out and arrest you. I went with a friend when he needed a police report to get a job and they arrested him like that over a warrant for failure to pay fines. =(

In California these records are usually obtained through the County's Sheriffs Dept. A request is submitted via the Sheriff's Dept. to the California Department of Justice. There is a fee ($25 ??) unless you are able to prove financial hardship. In California your criminal history record is not legally available to you or the public except with written permission to the Dept. of Justice.

Arrest records are available under the Freedom of Information Act. How do you think TV news folks get all the info about someone if they are arrested for a high profile crime? The police don't readily make this info available. I was able to read my brothers entire arrest record while he was in jail, all I did was ask. Copy and paste the following URL into your browser.

How do you think this website got all their info? Filled out a FIA form and it was given to them. Sorry, arrest records are consider public information.
