Arrest & search Warrant

I am in Kentucky. I was arrested in Jan.2002, my question is
when you are told we have a warrant for your arrest how long after you are cuffed do they have to tell you what you are arrested for. and if they state they have a search warrant also for the home are they suppose to show the warrant and it have listed what they are looking for? kinda getting the Mayberry syndrome around here! any help would be deeply appreciated

Within 24hours you need to be told what the charge is for or released.

As far the Search Warrant - They are only required to 'show' it to you if you ask. If you did not ask to see it, they are not required to show it to you. NOTE: They MUST HAVE ONE.

I ask what the search warrant was for and they said for security reasons they would show me latter. well it's been much latter and I have not seen it yet!

Hopefully you had a witness to that. If you, get your lawyer involved ASAP. Make the produce one with the correct dates.
