Arrest Warrant questions

What is the name of your state? Iowa

If a person has been told that they have an arrest warrant issued,(6 months ago)..can they be arrested when they go in to get a new license, register a vehicle or when they try to use a foodstamp card? Also, if it is a warrant for criminal mischief, why haven't the police come to the door yet? Also, can a person register a vehicle for another person? Thank you...

It's possible.

It is a low priority warrant. The police will wait till you find them, usually through a traffic stop.

That is called fraud and could get you into more trouble. It would probably be much easier to take care of the warrant.
