Attorney QuestionI was recently arrested for Minor In Possecion of alcohol in New Mexico and as soon as i got into the station i asked for an attorney. I didn't receive an answer from the officer so i asked again and he said ok. Durning my time in the holding cell i niether recieved information on getting an attorney or having one appointed for me, is this a violation of my Miranda rights? |

| No. You'll have an opportunity to get a court-appoointed attorney (if you can't afford private counsel) when you get to court. |
