how can i find out if i have a bench warrant, sherrif wont say over the phone and say you have to come in to find out but its 2500 miles away in another state ( california) is there someway to get a lawyer or someone else to access the information online through a database etc?

An attorney might find the information. You might also check the court website to see if a bench warrant was issued in your case. Perhaps a public records request can also be made.

Why do you think you might have a bench warrant? Did you fail to appear on a court matter or did you fail to complete the terms of probation or some such thing?
