booking information incorrect. (2 booking numbers given)

What is the name of your state? California

On 12/15/02 I was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, at about 11:30 am. Finally got to the jail and pre-booking at approx 2:00pm. The police finished filling out the "Pre Booking Information Sheet" and they then had me sign it and initial it in 2 different places on sheet. Then I was placed into a holding cell where I placed a call to a Bail Bonds company. The bails bondman asked me what my booking number was, which he stated would be located in the upper left corner of the pre booking sheet. I gave him the number and he said it would take a couple of hours to post bail and get released. At this time it was approx 2:30pm. I ended up calling the bails bondsman approx every hour looking for status updates. I was told that the paperwork wasn't ready yet and to be patient. Well I was finally released at approx 10:00pm that night.

I then went to the bail bondsman to sign the paperwork and during this time the bail bondsman told me that the reason it took so long was because I had given him the wrong booking number. He showed me the paperwork that was given to him by the police department and sure enough the booking number did not match the booking number located on the pre booking sheet I had to sign earlier that afternoon.

I will not list the 2 actual booking numbers. So I have made the following up.

Pre booking sheet = 03070884 (was booked on this number)

Bail receipt = 03070875 (was released on this number)

Question 1: what are the chances that this will be dismissed?

Question 2: Public defender or get a private lawyer?

Any advice would be much appreciated

"Question 1: what are the chances that this will be dismissed?"
** ZERO!

"Question 2: Public defender or get a private lawyer?"
** If you can afford a private lawyer, you won't have this option.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!
