My exhusband is receiving experimental treatment for a rare form of brain cancer. He was arrested and it took 9 days to get him bonded out. He is only 41 years old, has had 2 heart attacks, and takes numerous medications on a daily basis. While he was in jail, he was not permitted to have any of his medications, and was told that they did not care if he died in jail. He became so ill that at one point they cuffed and shackled him, thru him in a squad car, and took him to a local hospital. The doctor told the police that he needed to be admitted at least over night. The police told the doctor to do what ever he could, but that he was taking him right back to jail. Does this qualify for a law suit, and if so, who all should it be against? What is the name of your state?
